What is counselling/ psychotherapy?
Counselling or psychotherapy involves talking through feelings, emotions and experiences together with the support of a counsellor or psychotherapist. The Person-Centred approach is a non-directive approach, which encourages in-depth exploration of feelings, emotions and experiences in a safe, confidential and judgement-free environment.
What does career coaching involve?
Career coaching involves the exploration of personal and professional goals, strengths and skills to identify the best way forward. My practice is informed by the Person-Centred approach, which uses a non-directive method to explore these elements and to support you in making your own career decisions. A typical session might involve the incorporation of career questionnaires, job exploration, the completion of application forms and CVs as well as mock interview practice.
Do you offer couples, marriage or relationship counselling?
Currently I only offer counselling and psychotherapy to individuals - adults and young people.
How many sessions will I have?
There are no set number of sessions. However, we can agree to work towards a certain number of sessions if this is something you might like to do.
Who can recieve career coaching?
I currently offer career coaching to both young people (13 yrs +) and adults of any age.
